Dr. Joseph Anderson
Director of Pastoral Care Programs

Dr. Joseph Anderson is a chaplain, pastor, holistic health coach, motivational speaker, and philanthropist dedicated to providing compassionate spiritual care and holistic healing. With extensive experience in pastoral care, Dr. Anderson is committed to helping individuals and communities experience healing, growth, and the transformative love of Christ.

Dr. Anderson's ministry journey includes serving as a resident pastor at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he provided leadership and spiritual guidance from 2013 to 2022. His commitment to social justice and advocacy for the underprivileged led to the establishment of Be a Blessing Mission, a nonprofit organization that delivered relief and support to disadvantaged communities in the United States and Africa.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Dr. Anderson combines practical experience with a strong academic foundation. His educational achievements include:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Saint Leo University
  • Master of Divinity in Chaplaincy – Regent University
  • Doctor of Ministry (Research Focus: Moral Injury)
Dr. Anderson is a Board-Certified Chaplain through the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) and the National Association of Veterans Affairs Chaplains (NAVAC). He is also a certified Clinical Chaplain, further showcasing his dedication to providing exceptional pastoral care.

As the Director of Pastoral Care Programs at Christian Therapeutic Ministry, Dr. Anderson oversees initiatives that integrate faith-based principles with holistic approaches to healing. He collaborates with diverse faith communities and professionals to design and deliver programs that address spiritual and emotional well-being. His role includes mentoring, teaching, and guiding individuals seeking holistic healing through the ministry’s offerings.

Dr. Anderson continues to work closely with churches and ministries across Maryland, Washington, D.C., Delaware, and Northern Virginia, delivering messages grounded in theological depth and practical application.

Dr. Anderson is married to Joyce Anderson, and they are blessed with three sons: Joseph Jr., Jethro, and Josiah.

Through his leadership and vision, Dr. Anderson ensures that Christian Therapeutic Ministry remains a beacon of hope and transformation, empowering individuals to grow spiritually and emotionally while experiencing the profound love of God.
